DELIVERY

Once you have placed your order our workshop will start production straight away. Each of our items are hand made especially for you.

How long will my order take?

 

All of our diamond jewellery is made especially for you! Our typical order time is approximately 10-15 working days as standard. Some of our items may take a fraction longer owing to how intricate they are. We will, wherever possible, keep you up to date should there be any changes to the delivery time.*

We offer international shipping from South Africa. Please see below the fees for local, regional and international shipments;

  • Local Deliveries R60 *Includes Cape Town main suburbs only. (Typically 2-3 working days for delivery, excluding weekends and public holidays)
  • Regional Deliveries R150 *Areas outside of Cape Town and within South Africa (Typically 3 working days for delivery, excluding weekends and public holidays)
  • International Deliveries from R750 ($55) (Typically 4-5 working days for delivery, excluding weekends and public holidays, includes Insurance.)

 

International Deliveries

As per our Terms and Conditions of sale, when you submit your Order, you are offering to buy the Product(s) at the price set out in the Order. However, import duties and taxes incurred on receiving your order are for your own account. The total cost for the Product(s) and delivery charges will be displayed before you confirm your Order and will be set out in the order email you receive from us, however, we do not give indications for duties and VAT which will be payable once the goods arrive in your country.

Delivery at Weekends

Please note that our couriers do not deliver on Saturdays, Sundays or Public Holidays.

Delivery Exceptions

*PO Box addresses:
Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver to PO Box numbers, mail-forwarding addresses and temporary residence addresses. This is to ensure the safe and undamaged delivery of your order.

Receiving Your Order

All our orders will require a signature on delivery. If you will not be at home at the time of delivery, and nobody is home to receive your parcel, please rather provide us with your work address for the delivery. If nobody is available to sign for your parcel at the specified address at the time of delivery, our delivery company will leave a card and telephone number for you to make alternative arrangements. We will attempt two deliveries before your parcel is returned to our depot as a problem parcel. To ensure the safe and undamaged delivery of your order, our delivery company will not be able to leave your order 'in a safe place' at the address.

 

Missing or Damaged Items

Please check your order as soon as you receive it. If your order is not as expected, please contact our Customer Care Team as soon as possible with your order confirmation number to hand. Email: Craig[@]blackkeydiamonds.com

Packaging

All orders are wrapped and packed in our signature Black Key Diamond packaging.

Can I Collect My Jewellery From Your Store?

You are more than welcome to visit our store and collect your jewellery. You can put this down at the checkout stage of your purchase or alternatively contact us on: craig[@]blackkeydiamonds.com

Please note: You will need to bring your order invoice with you or you will not be able to take the item. Anyone who has not arranged a collection with us before visiting will not be able to take their item either. Collections are available Monday-Friday. Strictly no collections on Weekends.

 

QUESTIONS ON V.A.T

Customers based in South Africa

Any of our South African- based customers will be subject to V.A.T at 14%. Don’t panic! The cost is already included for you.

International Customers

Our internationally-based customers have a few different options regarding V.A.T refunds.

If you’re collecting your item from our store then you can complete the applicable form while you’re with us. You then have 3 months from the date of purchase to claim this back. Once you reach customs at the airport, show them the item of jewellery and the completed form. They will then approve this for you. When you reach your destination please send us the stamped form back so we can refund the V.A.T amount. A small administration fee will be charged for completing this form.

Alternatively, if you’re buying from our website or over the phone and we are shipping the item to a country outside South Africa, your purchase can be made excluding V.A.T. Please contact us on craig[@]blackkeydiamonds.com should you need any help with this.

*All times quoted for producing our diamond jewellery are approximations. We will always endeavour to deliver within these times, but as we are making each piece from scratch these times may differ slightly. We will always inform you of any changes. Black Key Diamonds will not be liable for delivery times altering.
